Unique – The IGP Vaucluse Principauté d’Orange is the only IGP in France directly adjacent to a cru – and not just any cru, but Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
With low yields and prestigious terroirs, this wine embodies a centuries-old savoir-faire, passed down through generations. It reflects an exceptional terroir, beautifully crafted by the winegrowers of Cellier des Princes.

Clay and silicious. In the surrounding area of Châteauneuf du Pape
Grape varieties
Grenache 70% – Syrah, Caladoc, Carignan 30%
Winemaking
De-stemming, vatting 6 to 10 days in stainless steel tanks with pumping-over. Fermentation temperature 26 to 28° C.
Ageing
9 months in concrete vats, then 3 months in bottle to round out and soften the tannins.
Tasting notes
This deep red coloured wine shows expressive and complex aromas of blackcurrant, Cherry-red with violet highlights. The nose is intense, with cherry and blackcurrant aromas. On the palate, notes of tart red berries. Pleasant to drink young, it has a clean attack on the palate, and is a supple, fruity wine.
Tasting advices
To keep : 2 – 3 years. 14°-16°C
Food pairings
With pizzas, sausages, grilled meats and generally with all types of Mediterranean cuisine. It’s a typical bistro wine, an everyday wine.
