Exhibition “Ma vie sans moi”

From June 1st to August 29th, Cellier des Princes is pleased to host the photography exhibition “Ma vie sans moi” by David Dauba in its wine shop in Courthézon.

With a distinctive artistic approach, David Dauba has been developing a body of work around faceless portraits. In contrast to a world where self-image is everywhere, his photographs offer a different vision of portraiture: one where the face disappears, hides, fades away or is only suggested.

In the series “Ma vie sans moi”, the character is present without ever fully revealing themselves. This absence of a face opens a space for interpretation and invites each viewer to bring their own sensitivity to the image. David Dauba’s photographs explore identity, presence, absence and imagination.

Colourful, poetic and sometimes touched with humour, his works offer an original and sensitive exhibition to discover freely during a visit to the wine shop.

This exhibition reflects Cellier des Princes’ desire to make its wine shop a place of encounters, discovery and sharing, where wine meets culture, art and local heritage.
