Wines of the Cellier des Princes selected by the Guide Hachette 2011

The Guide Hachette 2011 is now here, with so many interesting awards.

 The Châteauneuf du Pape blanc 2008, noticed because of its apple and pear notes, so typicals from our region and soils, enhanced by smells of dry fruits, bread crust, with at the end a small wooded taste. To drink right now with fishes, white meats and fresh goat cheese ; or if you prefer conserve it much longer, it will perfectly go with a veal blanquette or foie gras. 

The Côtes du Rhône Rosé 2009, mellow and warm in mouth, ideal to go with slices of bread with red mullets, a neapolitan sauce, and grilled meats.

Two stars for the Vin de Pays de la Principauté d'Orange, le VPO 2009. Intenses and fines smells of griottes (cherries), an impression of crunching pulpy fruits with griottes tastes as well. An excellent wine to go with aperitifs and mediterranean cooking.
